THE BANGLADESH ABANDONED PROPERTY (CONTROL,MANAGEMENT AND DISPOSAL)ORDER,1972

No. 157-Pub.-28th February, 1972-The following Order made by the President, on the advice of the Prime Minister, of the People's Republic of Bangladesh on the 26th February, 1972, is hereby published for general information: -

WHEREAS it is expedient to make provisions for the control, management, and disposal of certain property abandoned by certain persons who are not present in Bangladesh or whose whereabouts are not known, or who have ceased to occupy or supervise, or manage in person their property, or who are enemy aliens;
NOW, THEREFORE, in pursuance of the Proclamation of Independence of Bangladesh, 1971, read with the Provisional Constitution of Bangladesh Order, 1972, and in exercise of all powers enabling him in that behalf, the President is
pleased to make the following Order :-
